Monday afternoon Shelby got home from her trip to Washington D.C., with her 8th grade class. After they arrived home it was back to business as usual, and straight to track practice she went. We were so glad to have her home, and she was even nice enough to think of her brother while she was souvenir shopping...

She said she had a great time in D.C., and they were very lucky in the fact that they got the unplanned tour of the White House Garden.
These are some photos that Shelby took while she was gone...

This is Shelby with her friends, Kyle Baker, and Erin Niergarth...

Below is a picture of Shelby and her friends after getting ready for the Sady Hawkins Dance at their School a few weeks ago (I love that these girls know that when they come to our house I'll most likely make them strike a pose. They're such a good group of girls!)...
Bre, Amy, Shelby, Erin, & Madi...

Monday night we went to watch our niece Mackenzie play in one of her ASA Softball games, in West Liberty. Her team played a double header. They won the first game and lost their second. Kenzie played second base, and hit the ball really well too. Good job Kenzie!
