This past week-end we had guite a lot going on (as usual.) On Saturday Shelby was in her second full day of her 8th grade Washington D.C. trip, and Kaleb had his 5th grade Track Meet. This is his third year running in the Parents for Youth Track meet.
Kaleb is an exellent athlete, and he is a very good runner. He's not only fast, he has a lot of endurence for the longer distances. He has done very well in the past track meets and this year was no different. This year Kaleb ran the 100m, the 200m, the 400m, and the 800m races.
He has a good friend at school named Koy Snider who is also a great runner. These two are usually neck and neck with each other in each race. This year Kaleb came in first in the 400m with a time of 1 min. 18 sec., and the 800m with a time of 2 min 55 seconds. Koy won first place in the 100m and the 200m races, with Kaleb coming in second place.
This year's track meet was a lot of fun, and all the kids were great sports! Great job boys!

After Kaleb's track meet we decided to catch a couple of (my sister) Mary's Soccer games in Muscatine. Mary is a Senior at Muscatine High School, and loves to play soccer. It was an absolutly beautiful day to be outside, cheering Mary on...

Good job Mary!
