Easter... Is it Spring or Winter?

This Easter we basically ran the same routine with a few minor adjustments...

We started out the day by praising and worshiping our Lord for being risen from the grave. Our God is a living and awesome God!

After church we went to lunch with my Dad and Barb's side of the family at the Camp (Dad and Barb bought Camp Sacegewea about 8 years ago. It's an old Girl Scout Camp that they still loan out to people, Churches, and different retreats.) The only difference was that Dad and Nic were in Agusta, GA attending the Masters Golf Tournament(one of the many perks to Dad's job.) Even without Dad, Barb put on a great lunch for us all.

The kids had a blast, even though it was a rather chilly 40 degrees during their egg hunt. Aunt Beth always brings tons of goodies for the kids as well (I think she confuses Easter with Christmas sometimes.) Big Thank yous go out to Barb, Aunt Beth, and Erin for making all the great food, and for all of the Easter goodies for the kids.

After the camp we headed in to Mom's for another egg hunt and supper. My granparents (Thumma's), Nic's girlfriend, Terrin, and her daughter Clair were there as well. Rob's mom, Pam, and Grandma Kay joined us at my Mom's to celebrate with us. A big thank you to Mom and Leo for the great supper and goodies.

We are so blessed that we have families that really mesh well together, so we do a lot of celebrating as one big happy family. Thank you to Pam for all the Easter goodies as well. We should all be nice and plump for the summer.

I took this picture this morning (4-12-07)...

What's going on? Why is there snow covering the ground? Isn't it was supposed to be Spring? I got up at 6am this morning to take Shelby to track practice and the roads were terrible. Is it really April?
