Fun City Trip...

This past week-end we took a short trip to Burlington, IA to go to a hotel and water park called Fun City. Not only did they have an indoor water park they had an indoor go cart race track, a bowling alley (with at least 20 lanes), a huge arcade, and more. We were only there for a total of about 24 hours, but we packed a lot into every minute there.

We decided since our boys (Tanner and Kaleb are best friends)have their Birthday's about a week a part that our two families (the Poor's and the Schmidt's) would get together and celebrate the boys turning 11 years old at Fun City, with an overnighter.

Right away the kids were ready to hit the water park, so these are our fun loving kids...
Tanner, Kaleb, Callie, and Shelby...

It was so hot in the water park area that my camera was instintly fogging up...

Later that night the kids and the Dads all decided to go bowling. Shelby even got a strike (it must have been her perfect form)!

The kids and the Dads were also very excited to drive in the indoor race track. The cars go around 35 mph...

This is pretty much the only action shot that came out very clear. I look at this and think, "Oh man, she can leagally be on the roads in just a few months (with a permit)!"

This was the boys' favorite game at the arcade. They are way to intense if you ask me...

For supper we ordered their special 28 inch pizza. It was as big as the table in our hotel room, but we pollished off the whole thing (thanks to the Dads). It was really good...

The kids had a lot of fun in the water park. Kaleb's always good for a pose...

Even Rob got in on the water slide fun on day two...

Shelby was the only one of our crew that climbed the wall all the way to the top. Rob even tried the climbing wall, but Shelby blew him away...

The boys worked hard, but only got about half way up the climbing wall...

All in all we had a great time, and made lots of memories with our trip to Fun City with the Poor Family. Kaleb and Tanner, best friends...
