Kaleb is such a blessing to me in the fact that he is a kid who truly loves to be with his family. He is a talented, active, handsome young man who is kind and tender hearted towards others. I'm so proud of him and how disciplined he is in his studies, his activities, his friendships, and his relationship with us. He is a strong self-motivated person who will go far in his life.
My prayer for him is that he continues to grow in his love for Jesus and has the desire to serve him in his life.
Kaleb is in 5th grade at Wilton Elementary School. He loves Football (above all, and dreams of being in the NFL when he grows up.) He also enjoys Baseball, Basketball, Wrestling, Running, and hanging out with his friends. This is Kaleb's closest friend Tanner Poor...
This was after the first big snow in January '07, and they had a blast outside of our house sledding...
This past summer (2006) Kaleb played on a 10 and under Wilton Baseball Traveling Team. He enjoyed going to many week-end Tournaments and is looking forward to it again this year.
Kaleb learned this last summer that he has some talent in pitching. He took lessons from Ron Reifert in Muscatine and really learned a lot from him. He enjoys practicing every Wed evening with his Grandpa Rick and Uncle Edward as his Coaches.
Kaleb's favorite thing to do above all is to play football. He was very fortunate this year to get to have his Dad as one of his coaches for his very first year of "Tackle Football." Fifth Grade is the first year they can play tackle (real football) here.
This past November/December 2006 Kaleb played in the YMCA Basketball league in Muscatine. He is also playing with his Wilton Traveling Team in a league on Sunday afternoons and different area tournaments now through March '07.
Another thing Kaleb loves to do is run in races. He hasn't reached the age where they call it "Track" but he's had many opportunities to run in summer time races all around. They also have an end of the year school track meet for the elementary that he enjoys being a part of...
Kaleb has also turned out to be a very good catcher for his baseball team...

Great action shots! Those are hard to take sometimes. He looks like such a natural athlete! I am assuming the written story is yet to come? :) C'mon...what else do you have to do besides blog???? Kidding, of course! :) Hope your trip last weekend was a good one. See you Sunday!
