CRAZY busy...

Happy Friday everyone! I wanted to share some pictures of the most beautiful clouds we've been having, along with our crazy weather (although today is sunny, clear, and 70 degrees; PERFECT in my book!) And a little up-date on our week...

This past week has been the first full week that the kids have been out of school. I love having them home, or at least with me most of the time now. This week has been like I said, "crazy busy!"

Shelby has had 4 softball games, as well as daily practices and weight lifting for Softball. Her team won both games yesterday against Solan. Shelby had 3 hits, and drove in the 2 RBI's that won the second game by the 12 run rule. She played short stop in both games. Yeah Girly!

She is also involved in "Muscatine the Musical," and had practice for that last night. Next Monday at 12:01 am the high school youth group is going on what they call "Possum Run." This is a very quick trip they are taking to Sandusky, Ohio to ride some major roller coasters. They are riding on a chartered bus for 10 hrs, getting off to ride the roller coasters for about 10 or so hours, and then getting back on the bus for the 10 hrs ride back home. Like I said, "CRAZY, but way fun too!"

This past week Kaleb has had the Wilton Boys Basketball Camp at the High School every afternoon for 3.5 hrs, as well as having pitching in Muscatine twice this week with Ron Reifert. He also had 2 Baseball games this week, and is in the Muscatine MBA Tournament this week-end (Sat & Sun.)

Sunday Kaleb will leave with my Mom, Kenzie, Noah, and Emily for the Rural Letter Carriers State Convention. Mom takes the grandkids to this every year, because they always do really fun things with and for the kids during this Convention. It lasts for 3 full days and this year it's in Des Moines, IA, so they are taking the kids to Adventureland. The kids are all very excited to go with Gramma! (Thanks Mom!)
